Be Conscious Of Your Position In Christ

John 15:5
5
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Have you ever noticed that in this verse, Jesus says, “I am the vine, you are the branches”? He did not say, “I am the vine, try to be the branches.” In other words, He wants us to realise that we already are the branches. We do not have to struggle to become the branches.

And as His branches, we only have to abide or remain in Christ our vine. How do we do that? We do that simply by being conscious every day of our position in Christ.

Because we have received Christ, we are in Christ and are accepted in the Beloved. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 1:6) God accepts us because we are in the Beloved and He is in us. And that is how God sees us today when we come into His presence.

What the devil wants to do then is to get you to focus on your condition instead of your position in Christ. The condition you are facing could be financial lack or deteriorating health. The devil wants you to focus on your condition and forget your position — that you are the righteousness of God in Christ and that you are seated with Him in heavenly places at the Father’s right hand. (2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 2:6) He wants you to forget that you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. (Romans 8:17)

The devil knows that once you focus on your position in Christ, it will give you the power to change your condition and circumstances. John 15:5 says that you will bear “much fruit”. This means that when you pray against any lack, abundant supply will flow. When you pray for healing, sicknesses will leave.

None of these things can happen by your own doing, but by His life which flows through you. Just as sap flowing through the branches will cause them to bring forth fruit, His life flowing through you will bring forth a bountiful harvest of prosperity, healing and miracles. You only need to remain in the consciousness of who you are in Christ!

Condemnation Is The Root Cause

Romans 8:1, NASB
1
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

“When you see a plant with sickly leaves, it would be foolishness for you to just treat the leaves without knowing the root cause of the problem.

Similarly, when “leaves” of sickness, poverty and despair start sprouting in your life, you need to know what the root cause is.

Experts will tell you that it is stress. They may go a little deeper and say that it is fear — fear of the future, of rejection, of loss, of death and so on. But is fear really the root? Or is there something deeper than fear?

The Bible shows us that the most fundamental cause of problems in our lives is condemnation. With condemnation comes fear. Fear then induces stress which brings about the symptoms of the curse.

This is what happened to Adam. Long before he faced poverty, sickness and eventually death, he had stress. God told him, “In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground”. (Genesis 3:19) Sweat speaks of stress. But before there was stress, there was fear because Adam told God, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” (Genesis 3:10)

But what made Adam fearful? Adam was fearful because he felt condemned for being naked. He felt so ashamed that he hid himself. God then asked him, “Who told you that you were naked?” (Genesis 3:11) There was no one else in the garden other than Adam and Eve, so we know that it was probably the devil who told Adam that he was naked.

My friend, condemnation is the root cause of the symptoms of the curse manifesting in your life. That is why you need to know that at the cross, God took all your sins, put them on Jesus and unleashed the full fury of His wrath against them until Jesus cried out, “It is finished!”

All your sins have been completely punished and condemned in the body of Christ. The root cause of all your problems has been dealt with. This means that the devil cannot enforce the curse in your life apart from your receiving condemnation. So come to the place of no condemnation, and no sick “leaves” will sprout in your life!

Let It Go!

Exodus 15:26
26
… I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

After crossing the Red Sea, the children of Israel came to a place called Marah. The water there was bitter. That is why the place was called Marah, which means “bitter”. The Israelites could not drink the water, so the Lord made the bitter water sweet. (Exodus 15:23–25) Then, He brought up the subject of the diseases of Egypt and, for the first time, revealed Himself to His people as “the Lord who heals you”.

Why did the Lord suddenly mention the diseases of the world (Egypt represents the world in the Bible) at a place called “bitter”? What do diseases have to do with bitter waters? I believe that it is because He wants His people to know that a major cause of diseases in their bodies is harbouring bitterness and resentment!

Some years ago, a lady shared with me about her sister who had died of cancer at a young age. She said, “Pastor Prince, a number of years before she passed on, she went through a very bitter divorce. She was very bitter — very bitter towards her ex-husband.” Then, she asked me, “Is there a relationship between her bitterness and the cancer?”

I have studied the subject of healing for many years. I have read many books. I have listened to many tapes and I have sat under many healing ministries. And they all say the same thing: If you have unforgiveness in your heart long enough, that unforgiveness can translate into a disease in your body.

So if you have been bitter about something or someone, it is time to let it go! Your health, joy and life are more important. If you are already sick and you know that bitterness has something to do with it, let it go! Know Jesus as your healer. He is standing at your place of bitterness today and He is saying to you, “My child, I can make your bitter waters sweet. I am the Lord who heals you.”

My friend, let it all go and let Jesus heal not just your broken heart, but your diseases too!

Jesus’ Blood Stops Evil In Its Tracks

Leviticus 1:10–11
10
If his offering is of the flocks — of the sheep or of the goats — as a burnt sacrifice, he shall bring a male without blemish. 11He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before the Lord; and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar.

The north of Israel has always been a source of evil. It was from Israel’s north that destruction poured forth. (Jeremiah 1:14–15) Israel’s enemies always came from the north. (Jeremiah 6:1, 22–23) Even today, north of Israel is enemy-occupied land. The north is thus a picture of evil in the Bible.

Interestingly, the animal for the burnt sacrifice was killed "on the north side of the altar”. The animal sacrifice speaks of Jesus who gave Himself as “an offering and a sacrifice to God” for us. (Ephesians 5:2) Calvary, where Jesus was crucified, and the Garden Tomb, where His empty tomb is, are on the north side of Jerusalem. In other words, Jesus died in the north, from where evil comes against His people.

This means that Jesus’ death stops evil in our lives when we, who are priests of the Most High God (Revelation 1:6), speak His blood over our lives, just like how Aaron’s sons sprinkled the blood of the burnt offering all around on the altar.

This was the case for a church member who was serving in the army. He testified about how God preserved His life when a thunderstorm struck while he was carrying out his sentry duty in a tower in his army camp. The rain kept him stranded in the tower which had a metal-framed window. Suddenly, a bright purplish flash lit up next to him, stunning him completely and almost throwing him off balance. A bolt of lightning had struck the conducting rod on the roof and electricity was conducted through the metal-framed window, causing the purple flash. But the blood of Jesus on him protected him from harm!

Praise Jesus, whose blood stops evil in its tracks! It does not matter what the devil sends your way. As long as you are covered with the blood of Jesus, no evil can harm you!

Jesus Is God’s Satisfaction For You

Leviticus 1:9
9… And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.

When Jesus was on the cross, He did more than just die for your sins. His one sacrifice did not just remove your sins, it also placed you in Him. Jesus became the true “burnt sacrifice”.
In the Old Testament, whenever someone offered a burnt sacrifice, the perfection of the animal came on him. In the same way, every perfect attribute that Jesus your “burnt sacrifice” has comes on you when you take Him as your Saviour. And because God sees you clothed with Christ, you have the same acceptance and favour with Him that Jesus has!
When Jesus was offered on the cross, the fire of God brought out His perfections like perfume to God. In that one sacrifice, Jesus’ obedience and perfections rose as “a sweet aroma to the Lord”, which is what is emitted when the offering is burnt. This “sweet aroma” speaks of a savour of rest to God. Jesus’ perfect sacrifice gave God so much satisfaction that He rested.
You can also rest in the perfect sacrifice of Jesus, knowing that what He did, He did for you — “… as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma”. (Ephesians 5:2) You can rest knowing that God the Father is satisfied with you because His Son’s sacrifice has caused His heart to rest with regard to you. You can rest because Jesus is God’s satisfaction for you.
Today, as you come before God, say, “Father, I thank You that Jesus is such a delight and joy to You. He satisfies Your heart completely. And what He did, He did for me. Because Jesus so satisfies You, I know that You are satisfied with me. Because Jesus is Your delight, I am also Your delight. Because Jesus so pleases You, I know I please You too. And because Jesus is my righteousness and perfection, I stand righteous and perfect before You.”
When you speak of Christ and His finished work, it goes up to God as a sweet-smelling aroma, a savour of rest. And if God can rest in the perfect sacrifice of His Son, you can too!

God Will Surely Show You Kindness

2 Samuel 9:7
7
So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.”

When the people in the palace heard that King Saul and his son Jonathan had died in battle, they panicked. Fearful that David was coming to seize the throne, and kill all the sons and grandsons of Saul, they ran for their lives. A nurse took Mephibosheth, Jonathan’s son, and ran. But as she fled, the five-year-old boy fell and became lame in both feet. (2 Samuel 4:4)

The poor boy would not have been crippled if they had known that David actually loved Jonathan and Saul, and would have looked after Jonathan’s boy because he had made a covenant with Jonathan. (1 Samuel 18:3)

In this story, King Saul represents the human race. He is like Adam who sinned against God and forfeited all that God gave to man. He had the position, but not the power anymore because of sin. Jonathan, who came from Saul, represents Jesus, who came as a human. Jonathan was not like Saul — he was good, just as Jesus is not like Adam — He is the perfect Man. David represents God. So Jonathan’s covenant with David speaks of Jesus’ covenant with God. Mephibosheth represents believers today who are “lame” in some way — sick, depressed, fearful, poor and so on.

Now, Mephibosheth became lame because of bad news that was based on a lie. Many believers today are suffering needlessly because they believe the wrong things about God. They think, “My sin has found me out! God is coming after me!”

Well, I have good news for all Mephibosheths: David is not after your life! When David looked for Mephibosheth, it was to show him kindness, to take care of him and restore to him the land that belonged to Saul his grandfather.

Likewise, God is not out to get you. He knows all about your sins and still loves you. That is why He sent Jesus as the payment for your sins. And because of Jesus’ covenant with Him, He says to you, “Don’t be afraid, I will surely show you kindness. I will restore all to you and you shall always eat at My table!”

The Mind Of Christ Doesn’t Grow Old

1 Corinthians 2:16
16… But we have the mind of Christ.

“Oh dear, my memory is not as good as it used to be. I must be getting old.” Have you heard that before? Maybe you have even said it yourself a couple of times!

But who says that as you grow older, you are supposed to forget things?

When the late Reverend Kenneth E Hagin was in his eighties, he was still healthy and strong. This amazing man of God would run around the platform as he preached. And if you have ever heard him preach, you would have heard him say things like, “In 1936, on September 13 at 3.30pm, it was a Wednesday...” Even at that age, the man’s memory was superb!

But he shared one time about how he had started to forget things when he was in his fifties. He had read a medical journal which said that every day, millions of cells in our brains die. He didn’t realise it, but those words got into his spirit and he started to forget things.

So he asked the Lord, “What is happening to me?” And the Lord said, “You read that article and you believed it.” He repented and asked the Lord what he should do. The Lord said, “Confess My Word. My Word says that you have the mind of Christ, and the mind of Christ never forgets.” He started to confess that he had the mind of Christ and that was how his memory remained sharp for the rest of his life.

My friend, the Word of God says that you have the mind of Christ. The mind of Christ is not forgetful, slow or old! I don’t care how old you get — you don’t have to become forgetful. Don’t believe and confess what medical science or your friends say. Believe and confess the Word of God which brings life.

The power of life and death is in your tongue. (Proverbs 18:21) So use your tongue for life. Don’t sit around saying, “I am getting old and forgetful.” Say, “I have the mind of Christ. My mind is sharp and quick because it is the mind of Christ!” Believe it, confess it and see your thinking and memory live up to it!

A Brand New Body At The Blast Of A Trumpet!

1 Thessalonians 4:16
16
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

Today, Jews all over the world are celebrating Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Occurring usually in the month of September, this feast is celebrated with the blowing of trumpets — the shofar or ram’s horn. That’s why it is also called the Feast of Trumpets.

The Jews observe seven feasts: The Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles. The first four have been fulfilled literally by Jesus. He was the Passover Lamb (1 Corinthians 5:7), the bread of life (John 6:35) and became the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. (1 Corinthians 15:20) And when Pentecost had fully come after His ascension, He sent us the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:1–4)

So the next feast that we are waiting for Jesus to fulfil literally is the Feast of Trumpets. Why is this feast significant to us? Because when Jesus fulfils it, it means that we are going up to meet Him in the clouds!

I am talking about the rapture of the church. When the trumpet sounds, "in the twinkling of an eye", in an atomic second, we who are alive will be changed. We will put on new bodies that will be like Jesus’! Those who are dead in Christ, wherever their graves are, will rise and also receive new bodies. They will go up first followed by we who are alive, and we will all meet the Lord in the air. (1 Corinthians 15:51–55)

My friend, this means that there is a possibility that you might not see death! The Bible says, “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” (1 Thessalonians 4:17) It is one thing to be alive, but quite another to remain alive.

I believe that there is a generation of Christians who know the resurrection power of the Lord. They know how to put off sickness and death, and remain alive until the coming of the Lord. As you take the Lord Jesus and His finished work as your victory over sickness and death, may you be counted as one of them!

Thanking Your Way To Greater Blessings

Luke 17:15
15And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God.

People who have a grateful heart are always praising God. You often hear them say, “God is good!” They know that God is the reason for every blessing they get.

But there are those who look to God for blessings, and when they get blessed, go on their merry way. Their hearts are captivated by the blessings instead of the One who has blessed them.

Jesus had an encounter with both these types of people when He walked into a village one day. Ten lepers cried out to Him, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” (Luke 17:13) Now, when you call out to Jesus for mercy, He always hears you. On another occasion, when two blind men cried out to Him, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” He took the time to give them their miracles. (Matthew 9:27–30)

So these 10 lepers cried out to Him for mercy. He stopped, looked at them and said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And “as they went, they were cleansed”. (Luke 17:14)

But only one came back and fell at Jesus’ feet, giving Him thanks. (Luke 17:15–16) Notice the very sad words of Jesus that followed: “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?” (Luke 17:17)

The other nine obviously knew that it was Jesus who had cleansed them. Yet, they did not bother to go back and thank Him. Could it be that this is recorded in the Bible because God wants us to know that not many people thank Him after they receive their blessings? But let it be said of you that when the blessings come, you remember to give God the praise, glory and honour, and acknowledge that Jesus is the source of every blessing in your life.

Did you know that when the man came back to thank Jesus, he received an additional blessing of becoming whole? Jesus said to him, “Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.” (Luke 17:19, KJV) He was not just cleansed of leprosy, he got his missing fingers and toes back!

When your heart is thankful to God, you position yourself for even greater blessings!

If You Are Not Satisfied, Live On!

Psalm 91:16
16With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.

God says to you in His Word that He will satisfy you with long life. Now, He did not say that He will give you only 70 or 80 years. The number of years you want to live is subject to your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with 80 years, go on to 90. And if you are still not satisfied, go on to 100 years or more!

“Pastor Prince, are you saying that God did not appoint a time for us to die?”

Yes!

“But I thought that the Bible says that there is an appointed time for man to die.”

No. The Bible says, “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment”. (Hebrews 9:27) It is appointed for man to die once, but there is no appointed time to die. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that there is an appointed time for you to die.

Consider Stephen and Paul. They died because they chose to. They did not die because their lives were taken from them. Stephen died because he said, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit”. (Acts 7:59) Paul was stoned, nearly drowned and even bitten by a viper, but he did not die from any of these incidents. He finally died because he said, “For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:6–7) These men laid down their lives when they were satisfied and ready to go home.

There was a time before the cross when the devil could call your number any time. But when Christ rose from the dead, He conquered death — “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” (Revelation 1:18) Your Saviour now holds the keys of death. He has authority over death and He has given you that authority. (Luke 10:19) So don’t fear death. It has to submit to you. How long you want to live is now up to you!

Safe Under His Wings

Psalm 91:4
4“He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge…

A farmer walked around his farm to take stock of his losses after a fire had destroyed it. When he came to the chicken coop, he noticed the charred carcass of a mother hen. He used his foot to turn the carcass over and to his surprise, live chicks ran out from under it! The mother hen had died protecting her chicks from the fire.

In the Bible, wings speak of protection. David asked God, “Hide me under the shadow of Your wings.” (Psalm 17:8) Jesus Himself offered protection to the Jewish nation when He said, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!” (Luke 13:34)

He wanted to gather the children of Israel under His wings to protect them, but they were not willing. That was why He wept over Jerusalem. He literally shed tears because He saw the destruction that would come upon His people. He saw the Roman siege of Jerusalem in AD70, when the Romans burnt the city and holy temple, slaughtered the people, took some captive and sold others as slaves. (Luke 19:41–44) He also saw the Holocaust of World War II, which resulted in the extermination of six million Jews.

For you and I, because we have not rejected Jesus, but have received Him as our Saviour, we have His protection, especially in these times of deadly pestilences, natural catastrophes and terrorist attacks.

Like the mother hen who spread her wings and died protecting her chicks, Jesus spread His wings of love and died on the cross for us. And after He had died to save us, He rose again and lives today to make sure that we are well taken care of. Therefore, let us run under the wings of our Saviour, who has promised us in His Word: “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.”

He Has The Final Word

Revelation 1:8
8“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord…

The doctor has just told you that you have an incurable disease. The X-rays and blood tests confirm it. Your worst fears have come true.

My friend, the doctor’s report is not final. Jesus declares to you, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.” (Revelation 1:8) He has the first word as well as the final word in your situation, not the experts or medical reports!

“Alpha” and “Omega” are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. But Jesus did not speak Greek. He spoke Aramaic or Hebrew. So He would have said, “I am the Aleph and the Tav.” Aleph and Tav are the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

So what Jesus is declaring to us is this: “I have the first word in your situation. And I have the final word in your situation!”

Each Hebrew letter has a corresponding picture. Interestingly, Aleph is associated with an ox and Tav, a cross. Together, they make up a beautiful picture of what Jesus did for us — He is the sacrificial “animal” on the cross. It was for us that He suffered, bled and died.

When Jesus hung on the cross, He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. (Matthew 8:17). That is why your sickness does not have the final word in your life. Jesus does, because He took your sickness upon His body and paid for your healing with His blood.

When Jesus hung on the cross, He became our curse. (Galatians 3:13) We were supposed to be cursed because of our sins, but He took our place and the curse fell on Him. We take His place and His blessings fall on us!

So why settle for the curse of sickness or even poverty when the price for your healing and prosperity has been paid for by Jesus? Sickness and poverty do not have the final word in your life. Jesus does, because He redeemed you from every curse!

Beloved, when man says that it is impossible, Jesus says that it is possible. The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, has the final word in your situation!

'Take Hold Together With Us Against'

Romans 8:26
26Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The Holy Spirit is not inside you to point out your faults or nag at you when you do wrong. God’s Word tells us that He is inside us to help us in our weaknesses. In areas where we are without strength, the Holy Spirit is there to help us. When we don’t know how or what to pray, “the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”.
Now, don’t read the verse and say, “Well, I don’t know what I should pray for, and since the Holy Spirit makes intercession for me, I will leave the praying to Him.”
If the Holy Spirit, without our participation, makes intercession for us, then all Christians will be living victorious lives automatically. But we know that there are many Christians who don’t seem to be walking in the blessings of God. So obviously, Romans 8:26 is not saying that. What is it saying then?
In the first part of the verse, the word “helps” is sunantilambanomai in the Greek. It means “to take hold together against”. Now, “together” means that our participation is required. In other words, the Holy Spirit sunantilambanomai or takes hold together with us against the problem.
So if you just sit back and don’t take hold of the problem, the Holy Spirit has nothing to take hold of with you. If you don’t pray, He has nothing to pray. If you keep quiet, then even if He wants to pray for you, He can’t. But when you release your prayer in tongues, you are actually allowing the Holy Spirit to pray for you. And He will take hold together with you against the problem, and pray the perfect prayer through you because “He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God”. (Romans 8:27)
And you can have the confidence that when you ask anything according to the will of God, He hears you. And if you know that He hears you, whatever you ask, you know that you have the petitions that you have asked of Him! (1 John 5:14–15)

Getting Filled With All The Fullness Of God

Ephesians 3:19
19
To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

We would all like to experience more health, prosperity and success in our lives. God, being God, has all of these things, won’t you agree? So to be full of God is to be full of health, prosperity and success. But how does one become full of God?

In the past, I was told that to be “filled with all the fullness of God”, I had to fast a certain number of days, pray a certain number of hours and speak in tongues incessantly! Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not belittling fasting, praying or speaking in tongues. But to be filled with all the fullness of God is not about what you do. It is not even about your love for Christ. It is actually about knowing “the love of Christ”. No one ever told me that if I knew how much God loves me and focused on His love for me, I would be full of God.

When God made you, He designed you to run at optimal level when you are filled with His love, like a car that runs at its best when it is filled with the right kind of petrol. When you realise how much God loves you, and feed on His love for you, you will be supernaturally filled with the fullness of God.

And to be full of God is to be full of everything God is to you and has for you. To be full of God is to come to a place of life, health, peace, prosperity — total wellness.

Also, when you are conscious of how much God loves you and you become filled with the fullness of God, what follows is the next verse — God doing exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or think, according to the power that works in you. (Ephesians 3:20) You will experience the tremendous blessings of God exploding in your life! You will become a blessing magnet!

So as God’s beloved, continue to be nourished in His love for you, and experience more health, prosperity and success in your life!

See The Abundance Within You

Luke 17:21
21
For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

When you were younger, your parents probably scolded you many times for not finishing your food or leaving the lights and fan on when leaving your room. You were constantly reminded that there are others starving, electricity costs a lot of money and that “money doesn’t grow on trees”! Now, you find yourself telling your child, “Don’t you know how expensive this meal is? Why can’t you choose something cheaper?”

We are naturally conscious of lack, but Jesus isn’t. Even in the midst of lack, He was always conscious of abundance. Remember the little boy’s five loaves and two fish?
What did Jesus do when these were placed in His hands? Did He say, “What do you expect Me to do with so little?” No, His eyes were not on the natural, the visible, the lack. His eyes were on the kingdom of God where there is always abundance. So in His hands, the little boy’s lunch was multiplied, and 5,000 men, not counting women and children, were fed that day! (John 6:1–13)

God doesn’t want you to be conscious of lack in your natural circumstances. He doesn’t want you to live by how much you earn or what you have in the bank. Now, I am not saying that you spend foolishly beyond your means. I am saying that God wants you to be conscious of the abundance of resources in His kingdom.

“But Pastor Prince, where is that kingdom?”

As long as you have received Jesus as your Saviour, that kingdom is in you!

Jesus said that “the kingdom of God is within you”. This means that the kingdom of God is not some physical place. It is within you and it is where the abundance of resources is. So if you want to experience abundance in your life, be conscious first of the abundance inside you. Then, what is inside you will become a reality on the outside.

Beloved, God doesn’t want you to be conscious of the lack you see outside you. He wants you to be conscious of the abundance within you because His kingdom is within you!

Have You Read The Good News Today?

Matthew 6:33
33
… seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God doesn’t want you grabbing the newspaper first thing in the morning and reading all the bad news in the world. He knows that if you do that, your heart will be full of cares, anxieties and even fears.

This happened to a mother who read in the newspaper that students from China studying in our local schools were becoming top students. She wrote to the press, voicing her concerns about the stiff competition her child would face from these students, even for the top jobs in Singapore in the future.

You see, when you are reading the newspapers, magazines, medical journals, economic reports, watching movies or surfing the Internet all the time, then you are getting your “nourishment” from these sources instead of God’s Word. Now, I am not against these things. But if you constantly feed on earthly things which cannot satisfy, you will fill your heart and mind with cares and worries.

Jesus doesn’t want you to end up worrying about your life — what you will eat, drink or wear — as these are the things that the Gentiles (people of the world) seek. He says that your heavenly Father knows very well that you need these things. (Matthew 6:31–32) That is why He promises you that if you would seek God’s kingdom first and His righteousness, all these things that the world seeks after (health, wealth, success and wellness) will be added to you, not just given but added, which means greater in quantity and quality!

If you are broke, don’t pursue money. Pursue God your prosperity. If you are faced with lack, don’t pursue material goods. Pursue God your provider. If you are sick, don’t pursue healing. Pursue God your healer.

So don’t grab the newspaper or call your friend first thing in the morning to talk about the latest bad news. Instead, grab your Bible and read all the good news God has for you for the day. And as you seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all the things that the world is running after will be added to you!

The Head And Not The Tail

Deuteronomy 28:13
13
And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath…

One of our church members saw his sales performance hit rock bottom by the middle of the year. As a result, in the ranking of financial advisers in the company, he was placed 320 out of 420.

Devastated and on the verge of giving up, he started listening to my messages and claiming God’s promises that say, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath…” and “… many who are first will be last, and the last first”. (Matthew 19:30)

He committed everything to God because he believed that only God could turn things around for him. And God did just that.

By the end of that year, he was ranked second in his branch and tenth in the whole company! He qualified for a trip for two to Barcelonia, Spain, worth about $20,000. That was not all. For the first time in his 12 years as a financial adviser, he qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table Award. In fact, only the top six per cent of advisers in the entire industry qualify for this international award.

Beloved, when God makes you the head, you will end up on top of your circumstances.Consider the story of Joseph. (Genesis 39) Even when he was a slave, he was the head and not the tail because God prospered everything that he did.

“But Pastor Prince, when I look at my life, there are times when I am up and there are times when I am down. But the Bible says that I will be above only. I don’t understand this.”

What you are going through is only temporal. You have to keep believing that you are above only and not beneath, even when you are at rock bottom. It is God who always causes you to triumph in Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:14) You cannot cause yourself to triumph. Only God can and He has said in His Word that you will be the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath!

You Are A Blessing Going Somewhere To Happen

Deuteronomy 28:10
10
Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.

Today, we are called by the name of Christ — Christ-ians. Therefore, the blessing of Deuteronomy 28:10, which says, “Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord…” is no longer just a promise but reality!

The second part of the verse, “and they shall be afraid of you”, is also true for you. People will respect you. Your boss will favour you and even your competitors will esteem you highly. They know that there is something special about you because good things happen when you are around!

I experienced this blessing when I first started working. I worked in a small third-floor office which constantly smelled of salted fish because there was a salted fish stall on the ground floor. It was in that small, dingy office that I kept on confessing that I was blessed by the Lord. My boss knew that there was something different about me. In less than three years, my salary had risen quickly.

The company’s business flourished and before long, we moved out of that small office to a building which in the mid-eighties was an information technology hub. There, we occupied a couple of offices, and started specialising in computer software and courses. Soon, we occupied the entire floor! That was how much God was prospering us.

God was blessing me tremendously. I was drawing a very good monthly income, enjoying the favour of my boss and was in his inner circle. I was also slated for a promotion which would give me a five-figure salary!

A few years later, when I decided to go into full-time ministry, my boss cried when I broke the news to him. I never knew how much I meant to him until then. It was then that I realised what a blessing I had been to him by the grace of God.

Because you are also called by the name of the Lord, wherever you go, the blessing is on you. The people around you will look at you and know that you are a blessing going somewhere to happen!

See Your Enemies Flee Because Of Jesus

Deuteronomy 28:7
7
The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

Some people think that Jesus and the devil are always confronting and fighting each other. But when I read my Bible, I don’t see fights between the two. What I see is the devil having to flee when he encounters Jesus!

Consider the demoniac from the country of the Gadarenes in Luke 8:26–39. The demons in the man were begging Jesus not to torment them or send them into the abyss, but to permit them to enter a herd of swine nearby.

You see, neither the devil nor his demons can stand before Jesus. They may torment people for a while, but when Jesus comes on the scene, they know that that is the end of their stay. They will have to flee! All it took was just one word from Jesus, and the entire legion of demons had to come out of the man and flee into the swine.

As a child of God, you exude a spiritual fragrance which evil spirits can detect and which causes them to tremble. It is the life of Jesus inside you. And He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) That is why no curse, spell, accusation, scandal or destruction planned against you can succeed. Your enemies may come against you one way, but the Lord will confuse them and cause them to flee before you seven ways!

Jesus paid with His life to give you this victory over your enemies. During His arrest in the garden of Gethsemane, the Jews and Gentiles were united for the first time with one common objective: Torture Jesus and have Him killed. King Herod of the Jews and Pontius Pilate of the Romans were long-time enemies. But because of Jesus, they became friends. (Luke 23:12)

My friend, Jesus’ enemies were united and had victory over Him so that your enemies will be scattered and you have victory over them!

God Is Well Pleased With You, His Beloved

Ephesians 1:6
6
… He [God] made us accepted in the Beloved.

Studies have shown that in the heart of every child is a cry for his father’s approval. Something happens when a father says to his boy, “Daddy is so proud of you.” Or when a father says to his girl, “You will always be Daddy’s favourite girl.”

You can catch such a similar special moment when God the Father displayed His approval of His Son — “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17) The Bible shows us that Jesus’ ministry began with the approval of the Father, even before He had performed any miracle.

Now, you may think that God would naturally say that of Jesus, but not of us. My friend, the truth is, Jesus came for us and as us. Jesus died for us and as us. Jesus received the approval of the Father for us and as us. He came as our representative. And if that is not enough, God tells us in His Word that we are “accepted in the Beloved” !

Why did God specifically say “accepted in the Beloved” and not simply “accepted in Christ”? I believe that it is because He is calling to our remembrance what had happened at the Jordan river where He said, “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” God wants us to know that we are His beloved and that He is well pleased with us.

God sees us as His beloved because He has made us accepted in the Beloved. God wants us to wake up every day knowing that we are the beloved of the Lord, unconditionally loved and wholly approved.

The more we know how much we are loved and treasured by God, the more we can expect good things to happen in our lives. We can expect to be healthy and whole. And instead of becoming easily frightened or threatened by anything or anyone, we become confident that we will win every fight of life when we realise that we are the object of God’s love.

That, my friend, is how your heavenly Father wants you to live. So live life today confident that you are God’s beloved!

He Doesn't Remember How Bad You Were

Hebrews 8:12
12
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

“Oh, if only you had seen my husband in the early years of our marriage. He had such an explosive temper that I used to seek shelter at my mother’s house!”

“No one would have ever guessed that she had such a promiscuous past.”

“As a young boy, he would always lie through his teeth and not even bat an eyelid!”

Man looks at you and remembers what you were like in the past. But when God looks at you, He doesn’t remember that you were once a little rascal, drunk or drug addict. He looks at you and doesn’t remember that act of adultery nor the mess you were in. In the new covenant, God declares, “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

It is as if God is saying, “When you come to Me, please don’t think that I am thinking about your sins. Don’t think that every time I look at you, I am reminded of your sins. Not only am I not keeping a record, but I am also not mindful of your failures and shortcomings. I am telling you that I will remember your sins no more — never again!”

God can say that all our sins He remembers no more because there was a time when He remembered them and punished every one of them — in the body of His Son at the cross. God punished every one of them until Jesus cried out, “It is finished!” (John 19:30) So today, God can justly say, “Your sins I will remember no more.”

We all know that we sin from time to time. But the good news is that all our sins have already been dealt with at the cross. They have been washed away by Jesus’ blood. (Revelation 1:5) So now, when we come into God’s presence, He sees us without our sins. And when God talks about us, He only talks about the good things that we have done, not the wrong things because He remembers them no more!

Jesus Overpaid Our Debt!

Hebrews 10:12
12
But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.

Did you know that you and I once owed God a huge debt? No, it was not a money debt, it was a sin debt. We owed God a sin debt we could never pay. But God so loved us that He came up with a plan to pay the debt we owed Him — He gave us His Son to die on the cross for our sins. Jesus had no sin in Himself. So when He went to the cross as punishment for our sins, He paid for us a debt He did not owe.

My friend, the reality is that our sin debt has been more than paid in full. In fact, Jesus overpaid it! Jesus’ sacrifice was an overpayment because it was not just a good man, revered for his saintly qualities and good character, who died for us. It was the Son of the living God, the Creator of the universe and the perfect Man, who died for us!

Because Jesus is God, His sacrifice is greater than the sacrifices of all good men — past, present and future — put together. His sacrifice avails for all who lived in the past, all who are currently alive and all who will live in the future. And His one sacrifice forever took away all our sins.

Jesus’ sacrifice was also an overpayment because His blood is of far more value to God than the blood of bulls and goats used in the past to atone for the sins of the Israelites. His blood is the blood of God Himself, not of animals. Because His blood is eternal, His blood cleanses us forever, so we have eternal forgiveness!

My friend, the next time you are mindful of something you did wrong, remember that Jesus, your sacrifice for sins, not only paid 100 per cent for your sin, His sacrifice was an overpayment. You can therefore truly and completely rest in the presence of God, knowing that God is fully satisfied and completely at rest concerning you. He is not going to find some sin you have committed that Jesus’ blood failed to cover.

Today, my friend, God can righteously give you His blessings and you can expect to receive them because Jesus overpaid your debt!

Feed On Jesus And Live

John 6: 57
57
As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.

Some time ago, I visited a friend of a church member who had cancer and wanted healing. He was all ears, lapping and soaking up everything I shared with him. Today, he worships with us in the church and is completely healed of cancer.

I remember being at another man’s house at the invitation of his family members. He too was suffering from cancer. When I entered the house, the man had his television on. I started sharing Christ with him but he was not at all interested in what I was saying. He continued watching the television programme. I knew then that his healing was a lost cause because faith for healing comes by hearing God’s Word, not by watching the television, or reading newspapers or listening to old songs.

Don’t get me wrong: I am not against these things, but they are not going to heal you. When you are sick, what you want is God’s healing flowing in your body. How does that happen?

One of the primary ways it happens is when you read your Bible, soaking up everything on Jesus. Before you know it, His divine health flows into your body, driving out every symptom of pain, sickness and disease. Even your discouragement dissolves effortlessly. You find yourself encouraged, refreshed and your darkness gives way to light. You see, there is no way you can feed on Jesus through reading and hearing His Word and still remain the same. He said, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63)

Today, my friend, God wants Jesus to be food for you. We feed on Christ by seeing Him unveiled in the Word, by seeing and meditating on what the Holy Spirit reveals of His beauty and glory, and His finished work at Calvary. That is how we enjoy Him — as if we would enjoy a good meal. And when you do that, Jesus Himself promises that “he who feeds on Me will live because of Me” !

Moved By The Spirit, Not Human Honey

Leviticus 2:11
11
"No grain offering which you bring to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey in any offering to the Lord made by fire.

Imagine that you are walking past the prodigal son sitting in the pigpen. (Luke 15:11–24) You look at him and see him salivating for the pigs' food. Out of the kindness of your heart, you give him money to buy food for himself.

That is human kindness which says, “I am a Christian. I should be kind and forgiving.” The Bible refers to human kindness as “honey”. Interestingly, while we elevate it, God tells His people not to bring a grain offering to the Lord with honey in it.

The grain offering speaks of Jesus’ life on earth. Not mixing honey in the grain offering speaks of how the compassion and goodness we see in Jesus during His earthly ministry was all divine. There was no “honey” of human goodness that is tainted with human weakness.

In retrospect, the worst thing one could do for the prodigal son was to give him money when he was in the pigpen. Not only would he not have gone home, but what the Lord was doing in his heart would also have been spoiled. This is what happens when we go by the goodness of our human hearts instead of the goodness of God in our hearts, which is directed by His love, wisdom and perfect timing.

My friend, God does not want you to be moved by what you see but by His Spirit. There were many needy folks surrounding Jesus during His time on earth. But He did not heal every sick person, feed every hungry stomach or raise all who were dead. Isaiah 11:2–3 tells us that the Lord was not moved by what He saw or heard. He was moved only by the Spirit.

You too have the Spirit in you. (1 Corinthians 3:16) Be moved by Him. Follow the peace that He puts within your spirit to do or refrain from doing something. That peace is the peace of God. Acting on that peace will cause God to be exalted, and His divine goodness and kindness to really be a blessing to you and others!

Are you B.U.S.Y?

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.

In his opening address he said,

"We can't keep Christians from going to church."

"We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth."

"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with
their Saviour."

"Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is
broken."

"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish
dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship
with Jesus Christ.."

"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:

"Distract them from gaining hold of their Saviour and maintaining that
vital connection throughout their day!"

"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable
schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.

"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."

"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to
work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty
lifestyles."

"Keep them from spending time with their children."

"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape
from the pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small
voice."

"Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive."
To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and
see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical
music constantly."

"This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."

"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."

"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."

"Invade their driving moments with billboards."

"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night."

"Give them headaches too! "

"If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin
to look elsewhere."

"That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about his resurrection
and power over sin and death."

"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive."

"Have them return from their recreation exhausted."

"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation.
Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies
instead."

"Keep them busy, busy, busy!"

"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip
and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."

"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek
power from Jesus."

"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their
health and family for the good of the cause."

It was quite a plan!

The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians
everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.

Having little time for their God or their families.

Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?

You be the judge!

Does "BUSY" mean: B-eing U-nder S-atan's Y-oke?

Scourged For Your Wholeness

Isaiah 53:5
5
… And by His stripes we are healed.

The striped Matzah bread used in the Jewish Passover meal speaks of Jesus’ body, which was beaten and scourged for us.

Under Roman law, a criminal was either scourged for a lesser crime and then set free, or crucified straightaway if guilty of a greater crime. But Jesus was both scourged and crucified. Pontius Pilate had hoped that after scourging Jesus and presenting His bloodied body to the people, they would be satisfied and willing to let Him go. But the people were not and demanded His crucifixion.

Do not think for a moment that the people had power to inflict such sufferings on Jesus. It was God’s plan and the scourging was necessary for only by His stripes are we healed.

The Roman whip used for scourging was a leather whip made up of leather straps embedded with glass fragments and metal hooks. With just one strike, the instrument would have been wrapped around Jesus’ body, causing the crushed glass to cut deep into His flesh. And as the whip was pulled back, the hooks would have stripped off His flesh, exposing muscle and bone. Indeed, the Psalmist says, “They pierced My hands and My feet; I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me.” (Psalm 22:16–17) and “The plowers plowed on My back; they made their furrows long.” (Psalm 129:3)

Although 39 was the maximum number of times one could be whipped according to Jewish law, I believe that Jesus was whipped more than that because the Romans, who were not likely to regard Jewish law, carried out the scourging.

Whichever the case, His back would have been reduced to a mass of bloody, mutilated flesh. That day, Jesus’ blood flowed freely from His body for your deliverance from every kind of disease and physical affliction. God allowed every one of those stripes to fall on His Son’s body so that your body need not be scourged with diseases.

My friend, if you are sick or suffering from some physical condition, know that Jesus took the scourging as full payment for you to be free of that condition. He bore those stripes so that, today, there is no sickness, no disease left for you to bear. By His stripes you have been healed!

It Is Done!

John 19:30
30So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

What do you see when it comes to healing for your sick body, restoration for your failing marriage or breakthroughs for your financial woes? Do you see a finished work or a work that is yet to be completed?
God wants you to know that what you desperately need Him to do for you has already been done! Jesus’ finished work at the cross so satisfied the Father’s heart that from heaven’s throne came the pronouncement, “It is done!” (Revelation 16:17) in response to Jesus’ cry on earth, “It is finished!” So God wants you to have this revelation that whatever you need Him to do for you has been done because Jesus has accomplished it all for you.
You are not waiting to be healed — your healing has been accomplished. You are not going to receive restoration for your marriage or a breakthrough in your finances — your restoration and breakthrough have been accomplished. You are not going to die from any lack — you have been abundantly supplied. All these things have been accomplished, not by you, but by Christ alone!
If you are bothered by a pain in your body, God wants you to see your healing finished or accomplished for you by His Son’s death on the cross. If it is a loss or debt you face, or a certain sin you are struggling with, my friend, believe that your provision, restoration and deliverance have been accomplished or done for you.
Don’t worry about what you see or feel, or the presence of contradicting reports. These are lying symptoms and though they may seem very real, they are temporal and not the truth. God’s Word is the truth and it will remain because it is eternal. And when you believe that only what God’s Word says about your situation is the truth, all the lying symptoms will eventually line up with His Word.
God the Son says, “It is finished!”
God the Father says, “It is done!”
What do you say?

No More Sleepless Nights

Psalm 127:2
2
It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep.

“I was up the whole night — my boy was running a high fever.”

“I slept only for two hours — I was trying to improve my presentation.”

“I couldn’t sleep at all — I was worried about the bills that are piling up.”

The Bible says that God “gives His beloved sleep”. Who are His beloved? You and I! Because we are in Christ, we are His beloved. (Ephesians 1:6, 2 Thessalonians 2:13)

God says, “It is vain for you to rise up early; to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows…” In other words, it is pointless to worry and lose sleep because the truth is, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)

You see, God is the one who builds your career and guards your marriage. He is the one who watches over your children and future. He is the one who guards your bank account, and watches over your financial investments and business ventures. You are not the one!

So don’t worry and stay up late as if you are the source of the increase or the one who has the power to make things happen and save the situation. God is the one and He says to you, “My beloved child, throw that care, that burden to Me and go to sleep.” For when you are sleeping, He is working on your situation. He, who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:3–4), works the night shift for you as you sleep!

But because we are such doers and performers, it is hard for us to let go and let God take over. But when we actually do, casting all our cares, anxieties, worries and concerns once and for all into His hands, we will see how He cares for us affectionately and watchfully. (1 Peter 5:7) We will see Him taking care of our problems and working things out for our good. (Romans 8:28)

So trust your Father’s love for you. Cast your cares on Him and have no more sleepless nights!

Done As You Have Believed

Matthew 8:13
13Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.

What are you expecting God to do for you today? Do you believe that God will respond according to your expectation?

When Jairus, distraught at the sickness that was claiming his daughter’s life, fell at Jesus’ feet, he entreated Jesus to personally come to his house to lay His hands on his daughter so that she would be healed. (Mark 5:23)

But do you know that Jesus can heal at a distance? He didn’t need to go to Jairus’ house to heal his daughter. Still, Jesus went and didn’t even chide Jairus for his little faith. He met Jairus’ expectation — his little daughter was raised from the dead that day. (Mark 5:41–42)

Why do I say that Jairus had little faith? Because there was a Roman centurion who came to Jesus about his servant suffering at home. He recognised the power Jesus had and asked only that Jesus “speak a word, and my servant will be healed”. (Matthew 8:8) Jesus told him, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” The centurion’s servant was healed that same hour — true to his expectation.

My friend, there is no particular level your faith must reach before God gives you what you are asking for. Your faith does not initiate God’s giving. God has already given to you all things that pertain to life and godliness. (2 Peter 1:3) His blessings are pressing on you already! And at whatever level of faith you are at, God will respond. Jairus needed Jesus to go to his house to lay His hands on his daughter, and Jesus did. The centurion just needed Jesus to speak the word for his servant to be healed, and Jesus did. He met both their expectations.

My friend, don’t fix your eyes on how much faith you have or don’t have. Fix your eyes on the One who loves you, who has already given you what you need. When you come to Him, simply believe that He is waiting to meet your expectation. He will say to you, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.”

He Has You Covered

Leviticus 1:4
4Then he shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.

Imagine the perfection of Jesus covering you from head to toe in the sight of God every moment of the day. Does that sound like a dream? My friend, that is your reality because Jesus became your burnt offering at the cross.

In the case of the burnt offering, when the offerer lays his hand on the animal sacrifice (Leviticus 1:3–4), the perfection and beauty of the unblemished sacrifice is transferred to him — and God sees and accepts him in the perfection of the animal.

In Hebrew, the word “accepted” implies being treated with favour, delight and acceptance. This means that you, for whom Jesus became a burnt offering, are treated by God with favour, delight and acceptance because the beauty and perfection of Jesus has been transferred to you. As your burnt offering, Jesus has made atonement for you on your behalf.

Jesus is your atonement or covering for sin. How precious Jesus is to the Father is how precious you are to the Father because when the Father sees you, He sees Jesus, your atonement, your covering.

So every day, come to God, take Jesus as your burnt offering and say, “Father, I thank You that Jesus is my burnt offering. He covers me from head to toe with His righteousness. I thank you, Father, that You see me without spot or wrinkle. You see me covered in all the value and the perfection of the work of Your Son. What He is to You, I am. Who He is to You, I am. As He is now, so am I. I am in Him!”

Jesus has you covered. You don’t appear before the Father with all your lack, faults and shortcomings. Jesus proclaims to you what is right with you in spite of what is wrong with you because He has you covered. Today, hear him telling you, “Go, girl! I have got you covered. There is nothing for you to worry about!” Hear him saying to you, “Go for it, son! I am covering you. There is nothing for you to fear!”
